Can I book a weekly lesson or a block of lessons?

Our recurring bookings feature makes it easy to reserve the same weekly slot in just a few clicks. It’s a great option if you want regular lessons — and during busy times, such as exam season, it can help you secure your tutor’s availability before their calendar fills up.

1. Pick your lesson slot

   From your tutor’s calendar, choose your preferred start time and lesson length — 60, 90, or 120 minutes (depending on their availability).

2. Select Recurring lesson

   When prompted, choose Recurring lesson instead of One-off lesson.

3. Set the duration

   Select either an end date or the number of weeks you'd like the booking to run for

4. Check your tutor’s availability

   Click Check availability to see if your tutor is available at that time each week.

   • Available slots will appear in green under the Available slots section of the Lesson Request Summary box.

   • Unavailable slots will appear in red, meaning the tutor hasn’t opened that time in their calendar and it can’t be booked.

Please note:

• If there are lots of unavailable slots, it’s worth messaging your tutor — they may not have opened their calendar for those times yet.

• If your tutor isn’t available for all of the selected weeks, you won’t be able to book a recurring slot. Check with your tutor to arrange an alternative time.

5. Submit your booking request

   If you’re happy with the available slots, click Continue and then submit the request as normal.

Payment: Remember, you won’t be charged when you request your lessons — payment is only taken when each lesson takes place. All lessons follow our 48-hour cancellation policy.

Tutor response

Your tutor will then respond to your request. Your tutor can:

• Accept all the lessons in your request

• Decline the entire booking

• Accept some lessons and decline others

You’ll be notified of any changes by email, and you can also track the status of your booking in the Pending tab in your dashboard.

You will be able to see all your recurring lessons in your Upcoming tab in Bookings. Lessons which are part of a recurring lesson block will be marked with a repeat symbol.

If you click the drop-down, you can see all the other sessions booked under this block. You can use the 3 dots to view the classroom, or cancel/reschedule a lesson.
