Our recurring bookings feature makes it possible to book a weekly slot in a few clicks. Block booking is a no brainer if you want to have regularly scheduled lessons. What’s more, during busier periods (such as exam time) our more popular tutors often get booked up solid, so reserving your future lessons ensures you won’t miss out.

The option to request a recurring booking will appear each time you book a lesson. Simply click the slot you would like to book on the calendar, and you’ll be prompted to choose whether you’d like a one-off lesson or a recurring lesson.

If you choose a recurring lesson, you’ll be prompted to pick an end date or a number of weeks that you want the recurring lesson to run for. Once you’ve decided, click Check availability so our system can check if your tutor is available at that time each week.

Any slots that your tutor is available for will show up under the Available slots section. If your tutor isn’t free for some of the sessions, they will show up in red as Unavailable slots. This means your tutor hasn’t opened up this time slot so it can’t be booked. 

Please note: if your tutor isn’t free any of the weeks you have suggested, you won’t be able to book a recurring slot. Please make sure to check with your tutor if this is the case.

Once our system has checked if your tutor is available, you can click Continue and submit the booking request as normal. Remember, you will only ever be charged when a lesson takes place, so you don’t have to pay for all the sessions in advance.

Your tutor will then respond to your request. They can either confirm all the weeks, or they also have the option to reject a lesson if they can’t make it. You’ll be informed of any changes over email and you can also keep track in your Pending tab in Bookings.

You will be able to see all your recurring lessons in your Upcoming tab in Bookings. Lessons which are part of a recurring lesson block will be marked with a repeat symbol.

If you click the drop-down, you can see all the other sessions booked under this block. You can use the 3 dots to view the classroom, or cancel/reschedule a lesson. 

If you want to cancel or reschedule a recurring booking, you can do so by clicking the 3 dots next to any recurring booking and choose “Cancel all bookings”.

Block bookings cannot be rescheduled in bulk, so if you would like to reschedule the booking you will need to cancel and rebook for a different time. 

Remember that cancellations for lessons within 48 hours are subject to our cancellation policy.
