How do I pay for lessons?

When you request a lesson, you’ll be asked to save a card to your account. We don’t charge you at that point — payment is taken only when the lesson takes place. About 72 hours before your lesson, our system carries out a quick card authorisation check to make sure there are enough funds to cover the cost. This helps us guarantee payment to our tutors.

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy, which means that if you cancel a lesson less than 48 hours before it’s due to start, you may still be charged. Whether the charge is applied is up to the tutor’s discretion.

All payments are handled securely through our platform using our trusted payment provider, Stripe.
