How does the application process work?

Thinking of applying to PMT Education? Great! Applying with us is as simple as creating an account here and filling in our application form. You’ll need to tell us a little bit about yourself, what subjects you tutor, and any relevant experience you have.

You’ll also need the following documents at hand, so you can upload them when prompted:

  • Valid proof of identity

  • Proof of your qualifications

  • DBS documentation (if you currently have it)

If we think you might be a good fit, we’ll invite you to an online interview. As part of the interview, we’ll ask you to tutor us for around 15-20 minutes. 

To replicate a realistic tutoring scenario, we’ll be asking you to help us with a topic we’ve been learning in class, but didn’t quite understand. We’ll also ask you to help us with an exam question that stumped us during a recent test. You don’t need to do anything special to prepare for these scenarios – we just want to see your tutoring in action! We think this is the best way to accurately gauge an individual’s tutoring/teaching style.
