What can I tutor with PMT?
We offer tuition across a wide range of subjects, qualifications, and university entrance exams — but before you dive into the list, make sure you meet our key requirements.
Subject specialism required
We believe our tutors should be experts in the subjects they teach.
You must hold - or be studying for - a degree in or related to the subject(s) you wish to tutor. For example, a Biology degree is not acceptable for tutoring English, but a Physics degree is acceptable for tutoring Maths.
A Level alone is not enough — you can’t apply to tutor a subject just because you studied it at school.
How many subjects can I tutor?
You’ll select your subjects during the application. To maintain high standards of subject expertise we limit how many subjects tutors can offer:
Up to two A Level subjects - except for tutors applying to teach Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, this is allowed as a trio.
Up to three GCSE subjects
We may restrict these based on your qualifications and experience.

How do I select the subjects, levels, and exam boards I want to offer when I apply?
During the application process, you’ll be asked to:
Select the subjects you’d like to tutor
Choose the levels you're confident offering (GCSE, A Level, etc.)
Pick the exam boards you’re familiar with
These selections help students and parents find you using our search filters — especially when they’re looking for tutors experienced with a specific exam board.
Once you’ve made your selections, simply click Save to confirm them.
