Can my students leave me reviews?

Yes. Billpayers and students with full accounts can leave up to two reviews for each tutor they work with.

Reviews appear on your public tutor profile and contribute to your ranking in search results. Positive reviews can help prospective clients decide whether to book lessons with you.

A client can leave you up to two reviews. The review box in both your view and your client's view will clearly show which review the they are currently eligible to leave.

After the first lesson has been completed, your clients will become eligible to leave an initial review.

A Leave a review button will automatically appear in the Classroom and tutor chat. If they don't leave a review straight away, they'll receive an email reminder 24 hours later.

Once a client has:

• completed at least two lessons with you, and

• left their initial review,

they'll become eligible to leave a final review.

Many clients choose to leave this review towards the end of their tuition journey, as it allows them to reflect on the overall impact of the lessons and the progress they've made.

Although clients are invited to leave reviews automatically, you can still encourage them to leave feedback.

Many tutors find that simply mentioning reviews during a lesson is the most effective way to encourage feedback.

You can also click Message about review from the Classroom or tutor chat.

This sends a message directly in the chat containing a link to the review form, making it easy for clients to leave feedback.

The review box now remains visible after an initial review has been submitted.

Rather than disappearing, it will show whether:

• the client can leave an initial review

• the client can leave a final review

The review box will only disappear once the client has left their final review.
