I’m unhappy with a review, what can I do?

In the interest of fairness, we give every tutor the opportunity to respond to reviews – even if it’s just to say thanks. While we don’t advise our tutors to respond to negative feedback with hostility, it can be beneficial for you to explain, in a reasonable and diplomatic way, where things went wrong from your perspective. 

As professional tutors, we all know that you can only teach someone who wants to learn. Sometimes a student isn’t prepared or willing to put the work into studying, and sometimes the parents will hold you accountable for that, regardless of how unfair it is. There are also people in life who simply don’t like to give others top marks. Try not to take it to heart, or let it knock your confidence as a tutor.
