Can I hide my tutor profile if I’m fully booked or if I can’t tutor for a while?

If your schedule is jam-packed with bookings or you’re unable to tutor for a while, then you should hide your tutor profile so it doesn’t appear in search results.

Please note, when you hide your tutor profile, your existing students can still contact and book lessons with you, this will only prevent new students from finding you through the search results.

You’ll find the option to hide your profile within your profile settings.

1. Click the down arrow next to your name in the top right corner of your screen to open up the drop-down menu

2. Click Account Settings 

3. Scroll down to the bottom and check the Hide my profile box

4. Click Save

Hiding your profile also ensures your rank within our search results won’t be affected in the meantime. Ordinarily, if you take a long time to respond to messages from parents or students, or otherwise seem unavailable, it can negatively affect your position.
