What is a full student account and a limited student account?
Students can have either a limited account or a full account.
By default, students are set up with a limited account. The billpayer controls these permissions and can change them at any time.
What is the difference between a limited and full student account?
The key difference is how much control the student has over bookings and account actions.
Limited account (default)
A limited account is designed for students who only need to attend lessons.
They can:
Attend lessons booked for them
Send and receive messages
They cannot:
Book, reschedule, or cancel lessons
Accept or reject bookings
Leave reviews
Report a tutor
Full account
A full account gives the student the same access as a billpayer.
They can:
Attend lessons
Send and receive messages
Request bookings
Accept or reject bookings
Cancel or reschedule bookings
Leave reviews
Report a tutor
How do I change a student’s account type?
To change a student’s access controls, navigate to Student accounts.
Then, click Change account type, which will allow you to choose between giving your student limited or full access.
