How do you select your tutors?
While some tutoring platforms allow anyone to sign up and simply start teaching, every PMT tutor is hand-selected, individually interviewed, and ID-checked before their profile goes live on our website. The process goes like this:
Applications are reviewed by our experienced recruitment team, who only invite an applicant to an interview if they impress us with their attitude, experience, or academic background.
We interview potential tutors so we can get to know them and their educational background.
During the interview, we ask them to demonstrate their tutoring skills to us, so we can get a feel for their teaching style and subject knowledge. If they impress us, we invite them to become part of our tutoring team.
Lastly, successful applicants go through our verification process, in which we perform ID and qualification checks. Only then, do we allow a new tutor to start teaching.
