What equipment do I need for my online lessons?

We’ve designed our platform so that most of what you need for your online lessons is built in — all you have to do is log in and get started. To make the most of your lessons and use all the features effectively, we recommend having:

• A stable internet connection – A strong Wi-Fi or wired connection will help keep video and audio smooth.

• A reliable laptop/computer – This will give you the best experience for both the lesson and the platform tools.

• A webcam – So you and your tutor can see each other and communicate more naturally.

• A microphone – A headset is even better, as it can block out background noise.

• A quiet, comfortable place to study – Somewhere free from distractions so you can focus fully.

You might also find it helpful to use a device for interacting with our online whiteboard, such as an iPad, graphics tablet, or touchscreen laptop. This can make writing, drawing, and annotating even easier during lessons but these aren't essential!
