Whether it’s illness or a family emergency, we know there are things in life that simply can’t be helped.
For that reason, we allow you to cancel lessons up to 48 hours before their start time, without being charged. If you cancel a lesson within that 48-hour window, you may still have to pay. We leave this to the discretion of our tutors, who will be given 3 options upon your cancellation:
they can choose to charge you the full fee
they can choose to charge you a partial fee
they can choose not charge you at all
Their decision will likely depend on your reason for the cancellation, and whether or not it’s happened before.
It’s important to remember that whenever you book a lesson a tutor has to set aside time to prepare for it and teach it. If you cancel on short notice and they don’t have time to refill that slot with another student, then they lose income. As we’re sure you’ll agree, that isn’t very fair.
