What information should I include in my profile?
Filling out your tutor profile is part of our application process, so the information you include should give us a better idea of you as a professional tutor. A strong profile gives students and parents confidence in your abilities, so it’s important to include the right information.
You’ll be asked to write the following sections:
Headline
A short summary that highlights your key qualities, experience, or teaching approach. This appears on the tutor search page, so keep it clear, personal, and authentic- avoiding the use of AI.Bio
A description of your subject expertise, qualifications, and relevant experience (e.g. teaching positions, exam board familiarity, notable achievements). This section should establish your credibility.Tutoring Style
An overview of how you teach and support students. You might cover the resources or techniques you use, how you adapt to different learning needs, or how you help with exam prep, study skills, confidence and motivation.
Please note: there are some things we ask you not to include in your profile - you can find the full list here.
