What’s the difference between the group chat with the parent and student, and just the billpayer chat?

Edited

We’ve created two ways for our tutors to communicate with clients out of lesson time: a group chat and a billpayer chat.

The group chat includes the tutor, the student, and the billpayer, so messages here can be seen by everyone. It’s a convenient place to organise future lessons, offer feedback, and keep everyone on the same page. Group chats will also contain all the booking information so everyone is kept in the loop.

The billpayer chat is a place for tutors to communicate with parents/guardians only. This is useful for communicating things you don’t necessarily want to relay to the student. For example, they might keep failing to deliver work on time, or they might be struggling with their concentration. Most of the time though, it’ll just be parents wanting to know how their child is getting on.
