If a lesson is cancelled by my tutor, what happens to the card authorisation?

If your tutor cancels a lesson, you will not be charged for the lesson and any card authorisation associated with that lesson will be automatically reversed.

How the reversal appears on your statement depends on your bank. Some banks remove the pending transaction entirely, while others show it as a refund or reversal.

The time it takes for the authorisation to disappear depends on your bank's processing times. This can take a few days, and some banks take longer than others.

If the lesson was cancelled recently, please allow a little time for your bank to process the reversal.
