How do I refund a lesson?

Edited

If you or your student can no longer attend an upcoming lesson, we recommend cancelling or rescheduling lessons ahead of time. However, we understand sometimes things don’t go as planned and you may need to refund a lesson after you’re able to reschedule or cancel.

You have the option to request a refund for previous lessons. If your request is accepted, we’ll process the refund for you.

How to submit a refund request

1. Navigate to the Previous tab under Bookings

2. Click the 3 dots next to the relevant booking at the end of the row and select Request refund

3. Fill out the refund request form

You’ll need to provide us with some more information about why you are requesting the refund.

In the first section, please choose from the drop-down list of reasons for why you are requesting the refund.

Next, in the box, please provide us with more information about why you are refunding the lesson so we have all the information we need to process it.

You can then choose to refund either 50% or 100% of the lesson cost to the billpayer.

For example, if the lesson cost was £50, your earnings after the 18% platform fee would be £41.

If you refund 50%: the billpayer will receive £25 back, and £20.50 will be deducted from your next payment.

If you refund 100%: the billpayer will receive £50 back, and £41 will be deducted from your next payment.

Don't forget to click ‘send request’ at the bottom to submit your refund request. Once you do, we'll begin investigating and processing it right away.

What happens next?

We will send you an email letting you know when we have successfully processed your request.

How long does it take to process a refund?

The refund process may vary depending on the complexity of the case, but we aim to review and process all requests as quickly as possible. You will be notified via email once the process is complete.

What if my refund request is rejected?

If your refund request is rejected, you will receive an email explaining the reason for the rejection. If you have any further questions or need assistance, you can contact us for more information.
