My tutor didn't respond to my lesson request. What happens to my money?
If a tutor does not confirm your lesson request and the booking is cancelled, you will not be charged.
Any card authorisation associated with the lesson will be automatically released by our system. Because a card authorisation is not a charge, no money has been taken from your account and there is nothing to refund.
Depending on your bank, the pending transaction may either disappear from your statement entirely or appear as a refund or reversal. The exact wording and timing vary between banks, as some take longer than others to release the authorisation.
If you're unsure whether the authorisation has been released, your bank will be able to confirm its status.
