When is payment taken for a lesson?

Payment is only taken once a lesson has started.

We will only charge you in either of these situations:

• Your scheduled lesson has begun

• You cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of the lesson start time and your tutor chooses to charge you.

To guarantee payment to tutors, we carry out a card authorisation check at least 72 hours before the lesson start time which confirms whether sufficient funds are available on your card.

Depending on your bank, it may temporarily appear as though you've been charged for the lesson. However, this is not a payment.
