Can my students book weekly lessons with me?

Yes, they can! It’s very easy for clients to book a recurring lesson. Please refer to our billpayer FAQ for the full details on how the process works for them. 

Booking a weekly lesson is very straightforward. All a client needs to do is choose the Recurring lesson option when booking a slot. They’ll then be prompted to fill out how long they want the session to run for. They can even choose to end the sessions on a specific date or after a specific number of weeks.


How can I support my clients with booking weekly lessons?

It’s really important to add your availability for the dates and times that your client wants to request lessons for. 

Our system will check your availability before submitting a lesson request, meaning a client won’t be able to book a lesson each week if you haven’t updated your availability.

How do I respond to a recurring booking request?

Recurring booking requests work just like normal booking requests, except you can choose to confirm all lessons or reject all lessons in bulk. 

Any recurring booking requests will be visible in your pending tab. You can choose to reject a one off session (e.g. if you’re on holiday that week). Once you’re happy that you’re available for each session, you can click Confirm all. The weekly lessons will then move over into your Upcoming tab.

If you can’t make any of the sessions, you will need to Reject all.


I have to cancel/reschedule a recurring booking, what do I do?

If you have to cancel a lesson that’s part of a recurring booking, you can make one-off changes in your Upcoming tab. Just click the 3 dots next to a booking to cancel or reschedule.

If you can no longer make your recurring booking, there is the option to cancel all bookings.

There is no way to reschedule recurring bookings in bulk. To do so, you would have to cancel all and ask your client to submit a new request for a new time/date. 

If your client cancels a recurring booking and some of those bookings fall within 48 hours of the lesson start time, they will still be subject to our cancellation policy


Can I suggest a weekly recurring lesson for a student to book?

At the moment our suggestions feature doesn’t have the functionality to suggest a recurring lesson, but we will be adding this in the future.
